GoFileRoom, a document management and workflow application, has a new homepage-style interface allows users to customize the display of information via windows and tiles that they can tailor to their roles and workflow needs. There is also a new notification module in the Web-based system that enables managers to establish custom rules and reminders.

Managers and employees can set reminders for upcoming deadlines, and set notifications that send an email to clients, employees, or both for specific events, such as when a document is published or uploaded to the portal, a specific employee opens a specific document or logs into the system,a filing deadline or other date is approaching, potentially fraudulent activities take place, and workflows or documents are deleted.

GoFile's modules including FirmFlow, which provides workflow management features, including automated routing, tracking and report. ScanFlow handles the scanning of documents into pre-defined bookmarks through integration with Adobe Acrobat. TaxSort applies optical character recognition technology in identifying and organizing scanned 1040 source documents. RecordsFlow defines document retention policies and automatically tags documents for archiving or destruction in line with those polices.
