Robert Browning, Drake Software sits down with Bob Scott, executive editor, The Progressive Accountant to discuss the company’s all-inclusive approach to tax software packages. Unlike similar software companies that piecemeal tax prep packages, Drake Software lets practitioners combine various tax products to build one package that enables in-house access to all files and e-files., both business and personal. Browning also discussed Drake Hosted, a new offering that works exclusively on windows operating systems and enables Apple and MAC clients to access files from the cloud. Finally, Browning shared information on Drake Software’s SecureFilePro, an online document storage and transfer system that allows tax preparers and clients to transfer documents securely.
