Mackintosh joined Thomson Reuters in October 1996 in its Dexter, Mich.-based offices that are responsible for the CS Professional line, including products such as UltraTax. She moved through product and marketing management positions in that organization. Her last title there was as VP of the mid-market segment. Last year, she relocated to Carrollton, Texas, as SVP and general manager of Thomson's Indirect, Property, Trust organization.

CCH created the tax division last year and hired Joe Bergera as VP and general manager. Bergera had previously been EVP and global GM for Sage CRM Solutions. However, he left that position after a few months to take a position group VP of software at Roper Industries. The CCH position had been vacant until Mackintosh's hiring.
