A federal tax glossary, built on IntelliConnect's pop-up capability, helps define terms for practitioners researching new areas. CCH has also expanded suggested searches on the research platform which it says significantly increases the number of federal substantive terms along with adding thousands of additional state tax topic terms.
Also new is that treatment codes from the Federal Citator are now merged directly into the text of the impacted ruling while links are provided to associated rulings. CCH also has provided a new federal tax practice tools node which is now included in the browse tree. This enables users to add federal practice tools to their "favorites" list or search all federal content at once.
There is also Treatise Relate, which extracts details and guidance from selected CCH Expert Treatise along with new CCH Law, Explanation and Analysis on tax legislation sunset provisions. Among other features are the following:
