IRS2Go Available in Spanish

IRS TV logoThe Internal Revenue Service has released IRS2Go 3.0, an update to its smartphone application. The latest version provides the mobile app with the ability to acccess tax tools and information for the first time in Spanish. The taxpayer's phone language settings determine whether content appears in English or in Spanish.

Among the features are Get Your Refund Status via which taxpayers can check the status of their federal refunds and Get My Tax Record that lets them now order their tax accounts or tax return transcripts throgh mobile devices. Transcripts are delivered by the U.S. Postal Service to addresses of record.

Also available are Watch US, a feature that displays IRS YouTube videos on smartphones, available in English, Spanish and in American Sign Language. Follow the IRS provides the ability to sign for IRS Twitter newsfeeds, @IRSnews or @IRSenEspanol. Using Get Tax Updates, ohone app users enter their e-mail address to automatically get tips and reminders to help with tax planning and preparation while the Get the latest news tool can access the most recent updates on the IRS.gov English and Spanish news pages.
