Bill.com, which makes online invoicing applications, intends to expand its accountant channel. Part of that effort includes the hiring of Julie Lubektin as VP of the company's accountant channel. And, in general, the company plans to make more noise."Over the course of the next few months you will begin to see Bill.com producing more webinars, advertising and promotions targeting accounting firms," says CEO Rene Lacerte. Besides continuing its relationship with the AICPA and CPA2Biz, the Palo Alto, Calif.-based company is increasing its outreach to accountants.
Lubetkin was with the former PayCycle from 2004 until its purchase by Intuit in 2009. She remained in accountant programs with Intuit until February 2003.
