CCH Axcess Portal Gets New Client Interface

CCH Axcess logoThe CCH Axcess Portal has been given a client new interface, CCH Client Axcess. Rewritten using HTML5 and principles of responsive design the features are similar to the client-facing ones in the Microsoft Silverlight version of Client Axcess Portal, Wolters Kluwer says.

Members of the firm can access the portal either integrated with Axcess Document or via the standalone Portal interface, which requires a Silverlight browser plug-in, according to a spokesperson. While clients can continue to use the Silverlight version, Wolters Kluwer recommends the new interface.

Recent enhancements include the ability to drag and drop to add files and to create and manage portal users. There is also file check in and check out and the ability to delete and move files and view file history.

Users can add custom folders and set folder security, along with being able view and edit file properties, inducing expiration date and read-only mode (depending on permissions).

Wolters Kluwer has also enhanced other modules in the Axcess suite. This includes the Practice module, which has additional billing options, easier navigation for the billing process because of the addition of HTML functionality and advanced editing capability for invoice formatting.

With CCH Axcess Workstream, the company has created first in/first out pools. There are Advanced Staff Assignment panes and Project Status KPI panes. Users also have the ability to replicate and modify project templates.
