Avii says this week it has received its first external funding from Blue Diamond Capital. The software company, which makes the SaaS-based Avii Workspace platform for the tax and accounting business, did not disclose the amount.Silicon Slopes, Utah-based Avii said the capital from Blue Diamond will be added to $2.5 from operational profit to accelerate hiring key marketing, sales and software development personnel to support the company’s growth this year.
The company said Avii Workspace is designed for firms with 20 or fewer CPAs. The practice management platform is priced at $95 per month pre-paid. It provides project, task, team, resource and proposal and opportunity management, along with time-keeping, document management and workflow capabilities,
