QB Desktop 2021 Changes Introduced

 Intuit has introduced new features for QuickBooks 2021 desktop, including the QuickBooks desktop manager. That tool can be used to install any non-subscription QB Desktop applications starting with year 2010 through the latest version.

 Only supported versions can be installed for subscription products. The manager is available for QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Pro Plus, Premier, Premier Plus, Accountant 2021 and Enterprise 21.0.

Among other enhancements bank transactions with more detail by using enhanced rules, batch editing, and improved matching and receipt management has been added under Vendors, to automatically create and categorize receipt expense transactions in QuickBooks by using the QuickBooks Desktop mobile app to capture receipt data

Additionally, users can now create Customer Groups based on fields such as customer type, status, location, sales rep and balance. These can then be used to automate sending of invoices or statements. Users can also automate  and tailor regularly sent statement emails, which are se from QuickBooks, the predefined email and templates configured during the Automated Statement setup. Different templates can be used for different Customer Groups.

In addition, payment receipts can be customized and formatted via use of the Layout Designer tool.
