Grant Thornton has slected Steve Perkins, 58, as national managing director of the firm's new Technology Industry Practice. The practice includes software, telecom, life sciences and clean tech sectors.
In the new position Perkins' team will develop and execute strategies to assist technology companies to grow profitability and manage risk. Perkins was previously the firm's chief of strategy and executive director from August 2009 through October 2011. From 2003 through October 2009, he held executive positions with Northrop Grumman.
