Although the titles and divisions have changed, Mackintosh essentially steps into the role vacated when Mike Sabbatis left CCH in August 2012. He had been president and CEO of CCH since 2007.

Mackintosh takes over her position from Karen Abramson, who was named CEO of the Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting division earlier this year. Mackintosh will continue to report to her. In her new position, she leads U.S. operations that serve the professional and corporate markets.
