IRS Touts Forum Line Up

 The Internal Revenue Service says its 2024 Nationwide Tax Forum, includes 45 continuing education sessions, with six in Spanish. Attendees can earn up to 19 credits by attending the forum, the agency noted this month.

The agenda featuresincludes a keynote address and a special plenary session that will cover the future of tax administration, the taxpayer experience and IRS transformation.

Among special events are sessions on practice management, avoiding scams and schemes, beneficial ownership information reporting and a meeting with the National Taxpayer Advocate. 

In addition, attendees can receive on-one-one help from IRS representatives via the Case Resolution Program and can also visit exhibits in the Expo Hall.

Forums are being held as follows: Chicago, Ill, July 9 to 11; Orlando, Fla, July 30 to August 1; Baltimore, Md., August 13 to 15; Dallas, Texas, August 20 to 22; or San Diego, Calif., September 10 to 12.
