Enhanced side-by-side form views have been added to TaxAct Professional. In outlining changes to 2018 software, the company said recently users will be able to compare all forms from the current and prior years side by side.This includes the following forms 1040, 1065,1120, 1120S, 1041, and 990. Read-only returns can also be viewed in a separate window.
Other enhancements include newly designed client information worksheets within the 1040 Edition. TaxAct Professional also now includes the Ohio 1040 generic city return and the Pennsylvania 1040 annual local earned income tax return.
E-filing options are now available for the Kentucky (amended Form 1040), Michigan (Form 1041), Oregon (Form 1065), South Carolina (Form 1065), and Virginia (Form 1041).
