SafeSend has added support for tax returns prepared by the use of Lacerte tax preparation software. The move adds to software packages whose products are supported by SafeSend’s automated electronic assembly and delivery system.The initial release is compatible with the 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120s, and 1065 forms prepared in Lacerte. SafeSend already integrated with the UltraTax CS and GoSystem Tax RS applications from Thomson Reuters and CCH ProSystem fx and Axcess from Wolters Kluwer.
SafeSend feature include auto-collation and assembly, and an intuitive client interface that encomaases e-signatures for 8879s, estimated payment (ES) coupon presentment, ES payment options, email reminders for estimate payments, electronic K-1 distribution to shareholders/partners and tax preparation fee invoices with direct payment option.
