CEO Brad Smith gave a brief description of the plans in a fourth-quarter earning webcast, promising more details this fall. “We are expanding in to what we used to call the mid-market and enterprise space with QuickBooks Online Advanced,” he said in answer to an analyst’s question. Smith noted QBO is expanding in all markets.
A post by Ariege Mishergi, who took over last month as leader of the accountant segment last month said the product was made available to a small group of QBO users. While Advanced is not yet available wholesale, Mishergi added, “We will keep you posted on our plans for a wholesale discount as they develop.”
