Mostad & Christensen has introduced the Mostad Marketing Cloud, a platform that provides written content for client communications to tax and accounting professionals. The product gives firms the ability to autopublish to their digital marketing channels.

Grant Thornton has named Karen Hudson as chief sales officer. Hudson will lead the firm's sales enablement center of excellence and oversee the business development team. Based in Minneapolis, Minn., she reports to Nichole Jordan, national managing partner of markets, clients and industry.

Two Broward County, Fla., preparers must pay slightly more than $2.5 million to the Internal Revenue Service. Luzcor Fertilien, 39, was sentenced to 30 months in prison and his former partner, David Joseph, 37, drew a two-year prison term in a scheme that the Justice Department said cost the government $1 million in lost taxes.
