Sageworks has released a publication Tech Roadmap: Selecting the Ideal Solutions to Thrive in Business Advising. The book features 11 accounting and business leaders who provide advice to prepare firms to select technology products.

The American Institute of CPAs and its for-profit subsidiary CPA.com will provide up to $20,000 in funding to five start-up companies. The winners will be early-stage companies that enter the selection process for the CPA.Com Startup Accelerator program.

The Internal Revenue Service has added several features to online accounts for individual taxpayers, including the ability to view up to 18 months of tax payment history. They can also see payoff amounts and tax balances due for each tax year via the accounts.
