Accounting firm Armanino has been named VAR Partner of the year for the second consecutive year by Intacct. The cloud-based software company also selected AcctTwo as Business Partner of the Year and picked Radius as the Accountants Program Partner of the Year. Business Technology Partners received recognition as the Rookie of the Year for 2014.

AccountantsWorld has revamped Website Relief, its application that enables accounting firms to create websites and virtual offices. The company says the new design makes it easier to build sites "that engage and inform both existing and potential new clients."

The American Institute of CPAs has issued an Invitation to Comment, requesting feedback to help shape the next version of the Uniform CPA Examination. The comment period runs through December 2. The AICPA notes its research has found skills required of newly licensed CPA are changing rapidly which makes it important to ensure the exam meets the needs of the business world.
