Bookkeeper360 has been named Xero's Platinum Partner of the Year for New America. It was one of several awards made to accounting and bookkeeping firms by the New Zealand-based cloud software company. 

Based in Woodbury, N.Y., the firm was founded by CEO Nick Pasquarosa, a Xero Partner Advisory Council member. 
Matax, founded by Dawn Hatch was picked as Gold Partner of the Year.

Xero's Silver Partner of the Year, Hawkins & Co. Accounting, managed by partners John and Allison Hawkins, is located in Windsor, Ont.  CPA Ara Haddadian with offices in Burbank, Calif., was selected as Bronze Partner of the Year. 

Founded in January 2017, Flow CPA was named Emerging Partner of the Year. The Hamilton, Ont.-based organization was started by Cecilia Gordillo and Natasha Mclaren-Doerr A new award, partnership impact, was given to Beyond Balanced Books of Morgan Hills, Calif., and an application vendor Hubdoc!  of Toronto, Ont., and Sydney, Australia.

Cloud Accounting & Consulting of Amelia Island, Fla.,  was chosen for
Rewiring the Economy through Service, which honors businesses that provide pro bono or volunteer work.
