Wolters Kluwer has introduced a cloud-based practice management application aimed at firms that do most of their business from October through April. The Seasonal Edition of the CCH iFirm Practice Manager is intended for businesses which employ seasonal staff and serve most of their clients during this time.

The new edition provides access to client data and files, as well as integration with the ATX and TaxWise professional tax-preparation software applications from Wolters Kluwer. Built-in synchronization gives small tax and accounting opeartions and high-volume franchisees the ability to update client data across applications, and track tax returns throughout the preparation, review, acceptance, and payment processes.

The system provides a dashboard that can present key information about a business in a single view. An invoicing feature enables users to alert clients of invoices due, track overdue payments and process in bulk. The Contact Database feature centralizes the client database.
