Refunds started off the tax season behind 2018 levels and fell further behind this month. The average refund was 9.2 percent lower for the period ended February 9, than for the corresponding period end Feb. 8, 2019, the Internal Revenue Service reported this week. 

Centage, which markets cloud-based budgeting, forecasting, analytics and reporting products, has raised $8.5 million in Series C funding. Centage fields the Budget Maestro and Maestro Suite software lines.

American Express and Bill.com have launched Vendor Pay to be offered by Bill.com. The new service enables businesses to pay vendors with their American Express Business or Corporate Cards.
