RIVERWOODS, Ill. - The Kleinrock name will apparently go from being a research platform to a content brand name as CCH gives Kleinrock users a free subscription to its new IntelliConnect system.
A spokesperson said that while the company has not finished its plans "the Kleinrock name will continue to exist for some online content and books (which will be branded Kleinrock), and we will also bring some of it under the CCH name as we bring them onto to the CCH online platform." At this week's Midwest Accounting and Financial Showcase in Rosemont, Ill., CCH president Mike Sabbatis said the company has migrated 80,000 users to IntelliConnect.
The Web site at www.kleinrock.com informs
Kleinrock users of their eligibility for the service which is free with Kleinrock subscriptions. The site pitches IntelliConnect, which was introduced earlier this year, as providing "a whole new level of research – easier interface, faster searches, and more thorough results." Subscribers will be able to access what was called "world-class Kleinrock content and there is no need to return to this site [Kleinrock]."
CCH-Kleinrock is also offering one hour of free IntelliConnect training.
ATX-Kleinrock customers automatically receive IntelliConnect Access on September 16 and do not need to register separately. Subscribers also receive the new explanatory material,
Practical Tax Expert, which CCH Says was designed for sole practitioners and small firms.
Practical Tax Expert offers a combination of primary source material, practice tools, forms, explanation and analysis, current features and journals and state tax information.
