Joining Sage in January 2008, Warawa had been VP of Sage Accountant Solutions for two years before being promoted to the job of global VP of product marketing, accountants. Labahn had been with Sage since 2012. The move is a big one for Warawa, for along with Sage One and X3, Live is one of three products that Sage is working to establish globally.
Executive jobs have been created and established positions turning over rapdily since Stephen Kelly become CEO of the parent Sage Group a year ago. Last month, the company announced the departure of Himanshu Palsule as chief technology officer and of Gabrielle Boko, who was made global VP of global brand experience in June. Boko joined the company as EVP and regional CMO Marketing, North America, in July 2013.
Some observers beleive Boko's position will be filled in Europe and most of those newly placed in global VP positons in the last four months are from the United Kingdom and France.
Palsule quickly popped up with another job. He has taken a position as head of global delivery ERP financials at Epicor Software, effective this month. He worked with Sage and Best Software, its predecessor in this country, since 1997.
There are other new executives in the North American arm, whose arrivals have not be announced. These include Eva Schoenleitner as VP of product marketing for Sage North America in September. She was senior director at VMWare from February 2012 through 2014 in the Munich, Germany, area.
Also beginning work in September was Laura Fraser as VP of global alliances. Fraser was employeed at Microsoft from through September. She was director of global alliances there from November 2010 through May 2015 and was global director of the Accenture Digital and Avanade Partnership from May until joining Sage. Her LinkedIn bio says her initial focus is on relationships with Microsoft and Salesforce.com. Crystal Mascareno, already written about joined in August as VP of X3 North America at Sage, having worked at Symantec from April 2005 through June 2013 .
