Thomson Adds e-Commerce Analysis

thomsonThomson Reuters has added state-by-state implications of "pure-e-commerce" sales and service transactions to Checkpoint Catalyst. The company called the new analytical information an "essential companion" to the sales and use tax overview released last year.

Electronic transactions that are subject to discussion include downloads of music, videos and software; sales of remote access to software and apps; streaming entertainment; cloud computing services; digital storage; online education; and online research.

Other topics recently added to the Catalyst international library include Subpart F, Controlled Foreign Corporations and U.S. Shareholders: Basic Principles; Foreign Base Company Income; and Foreign Personal Holding Company Income
