The product is built on Exact Online and is designed for practitioners who have clients that use that product.
Product manager David Lechleitner says the practice management tools should help accountants increase recurring revenue by working more closely with their clients. The software is designed to enable that collaboration through dashboards and analysis.
Among the features in the new product are client relationship management, along with document management. There is also time and billing functionality and subscription and contract management. Exact says the latter is especially helpful for firms transitioning to the recurring revenue model. There are also workflow management capabilities.
The company expects Practice Management to be generally available in the fall with pricing anticipated to be $99 per month for the first user and $12 per month for each additional user
