Wolters Kluwer is continuing to consider applications to add to product line up for its Small Firm Services. The company added ProSystem fx for Small Firms in September and most recently CPE-Link to the applications that it is offering to its small firm clients.
At this week's CCH Connections conference Jason Marx, CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting says the company is "looking at the portfolio for things that make sense" to add to the small firm product line up.
The additions to the line up for firms that are using ATX and TaxWise tax preparation products follow an organization change that Wolters Kluwer implemented in the first half of 2016. Customers were segmented into groups that include large and medium firms, small firms and corporate.
Marx says that ProSystem fx for Small Firms, which includes tax preparation and fixed assets, was introduced because organizations outgrow the small firm products and the needed a growth path. "They wanted to stay with the family," he says.
