Cloud software vendor Acumatica plans to market to CPAs this year in an effort to increase the awareness of the cloud-based vendor's product members of that community. That is part of the Seattle, Wash.-based company's intention to increase its marketing expenditures by five times this year.
In many cases, when a client asks an accountant about Acumatica, the accountant know nothing about the product, Kathy Visser-May, the software company's chief marketing office, said at this week's Summit conference in La Jolla, Calif.
The company will advertise in a variety of accounting publications. It will also participate in the road shows held by the widely recognized K-2 Enterprises consulting organization.
Acumatica is also launching the Acumatica Campaign Factory, which is designed for members who want to pay the company to com up with marketing programs on their behalf.
