Paychex says it will introduced Pay-on-Demand by the end of 2019 and real-time payments early in 2020. Those are among new services the payroll services company said this week it will introduce soon.
Pay-on-demand enables customers to allow employees to request access to a portion of earned pay before the scheduled pay date and, with employer approval, funds will be deposited into a third-party account.
Early next year, Paychex customers will be able to deposit wages directly into employees’ bank accounts through a real-time payment network rail. In addition, Paychex Flex Time users can now track time worked via smartwatches. Also, Flex users now have access to a chatbot, Paychex Flex Assistant, which can provide help with completing a task within Flex. Finally, the company will provide access to a variety of office applications next year through Paychex Integrations.
