Among new support tools are video chat and scheduled callbacks. Callbacks have been available for other client teams, but are new for accountants. Callbacks can be scheduled for up to four weeks in advance. In addition, Intuit has introduced new QBO Accountant features, such as the ability of full-access users to add third-party applications. The capability was previously limited to QBOA master administrators in multi-user accounting firms.
Also, there are four new features for the QB Cash Flow Centers. These are a Planner, an AI-powered tool; QB Cash, a no-fee business bank account in QuickBooks; Envelopes, a place to set aside funds for, non-negotiable expenses such as payroll and taxes; and a QB debit card, a physical and digital card for accessing funds stored in QuickBooks.
And additions have been made to the Accountant Toolbox, which now contains two columns: Quicklinks and Tools. Quicklinks lead to charts of accounts, journal entries, reconcile, reports, voided/deleted transactions, close books and new windows. Tools encompass bookkeeping review, notes, optimization center, reclassify transactions, report options, write off invoices, prep for taxes and ProConnect Tax Online.
