Industry benchmarks have been added to the Business Performance Dashboard as part of QuickBooks® Online Accountant. The feature is one of the additions to QBOA for July.
To utilize the benchmark data, clients select their industry Business Performance Dashboard generates benchmarks based on nearby businesses with similar revenue. The benchmarks are built on anonymized QuickBooks data.
Also provided is a new month-end review, which Intuit says incorporates accountants’ best practices. The feature makes it possible to have missing information and errors automatically identified while also automatically creating financial reports for the review period. In addition, recommended check lists are available.
Intuit says users will soon be able to track client status across their firms.
