Intuit has made the Business Performance Center available in QuickBooks Online Accountant. Previously available only in QBO Advanced, the center enables users to manage key performance indicators, charts, and reports in a central place.
The center, which will soon replace the business performance dashboard, currently found within the overview tab, will be available through the report tab when users log into clients’ books.
Also both QBO Advanced and Accountant users can now access industry benchmarks on Net Profit Margin and Gross Profit Margin, which can also be added from the Quick Add menu. The new charts show company data and peer data for the past year.
Peer data is calculated based on industry, revenue range, and location, starting with the closest match and extending to at least 30 companies. Users can set or change industry and location from the Settings area on the Performance Center.
