LBMC Technology Solutions has a new CEO with the retirement of Jeff McCorpin. Stacy Schuettler takes over from McCorpin, who has retired after 26 years with the Brentwood, Tenn.-based firm.
Schuettler was managing partner of the technology business from 2005 through 2007 and has served as president since then. LBMC Technology resells Microsoft’s Dynamics GP, SL and 365 Business Central, along with Sage Intacct software
. LBMC also promoted Kenneth Sims to chief delivery officer, business applications, making him responsible for the firm’s portfolio of financial and operational business software. Robert Powell, promoted named chief delivery officer, network engineering, is running the managed services practice. VP Bryan Wilton, who has stepped into the real of chief revenue officer, is focusing on expanding customer segments and business partnerships.
Bob Scott has provided information to the tax and accounting community since 1991, first as technology editor of Accounting Today, and from 1997 through 2009 as editor of its sister publication, Accounting Technology. He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.
