Hannis T. Bourgeois CPAs and Business Advisors has selected three partners effective this year. It has also selected and associate partner and a director at the same time, all CPAs.The three partners are Jenna E. Frederic, Alicia J. Knighton, and Chase M. Ruiz.
Frederic, who joined HTB in 2006.providse accounting, assurance, and advisory services with a focus on employee benefit plans, construction, and small business and is part of the firm’s assurance practice. Basied in Baton Route, La., office, she also established the Women’s Initiative Network, HTB’s internal women’s group
A member of the tax practice at the firm’s Baton Route, Knighton is a member of its practice. She focuses her practice on corporate taxation with an emphasis on construction contractors and multi-state tax issues. Knighton joined the fir in June 201.
Ruiz, based in Denham Springs, serves clients in corporate and individual tax compliance, planning, and consulting services, specializing in multi-state compliance. He was worked for HTB for 13 years.
Based in Baton Rouge, Hull, who was named an associate partner, isa a member of the assurance practice, specializes in working with construction and employee benefit plan clients, providing accounting, assurance, and advisory services.
Finally, Ashley E. Wellons, who has worked for the firm for three years seven months, has been named as director of assurance operations. She worked for Deloitte from September 2008 through March 2017 and was an audit service manner.
