A CPA and a CITP, he chairs the Florida Institute of CPAs Financial Literacy Committee and is a member of the society's Technology Section. He is a well-known and frequent speaker and trainer in the field of utilizing new technology to improve the efficiency of operations in tax, accounting, practice management and general operations of the accounting process. Bergstein contributes regularly to the Wolters Kluwer blog, Intelligent Solutions, which explores content, technology and new ideas in the global information industry. He also volunteers and participates in the IRS VITA program each year by teaching the tax program.
