HoganTaylor Changes Leadership Structure

Randy Nail, HoganTaylorOklahoma CPA firm HoganTaylor has dropped the traditional partner management form and adopted a corporate structure. It named Randy Nail, previously leader of its financial institutions practice, as CEO and also created a new board of directors as part of a management restructuring that it said would position it for expansion.

Nail replaces Bob Vaught who has served as managing partner of Tullius Taylor Sartain & Sartain, a legacy founding firm which was formed in 1999, and stayed in that role after HoganTaylor's merger with Hogan & Slovacek in 2009. Vaught has become a member of the new board of directors along with partners Jim Taylor of Tulsa, Okla.; Todd Wisdom of Fayetteville, Ark.; Richard Wright of Oklahoma City and Pat Milligan and Jack Murray, both of Tulsa.

At HoganTaylor for eight years, Nail was previously with the financial institutions group of a Big Four firm. He has publicly and privately held clients  that range from small operations to billion-dollar operations in several industries. He will move to Tulsa from the Oklahoma City office..

Tony Otto, who has been with the firm since 1993, was promoted to leader of the firm's tax practice. He most recently headed the manufacturing and distribution practice area. Founding partners Jim Taylor, who leads the assurance practice, and David Hogan, senior advisor, remain in those capacities.
