The American Institute of CPAs has hired Clar Rosso as VP of member learning and competency. Rosso most recently was the COO of the California Society of CPAs and the CalCPA Education Foundation. She will lead the Institute's publications, conferences and web events, and professional development teams and will working with groups in communications, marketing, strategy, people and innovation, and CPA2Biz.
Rosso joined the California organizations in January 2000 and was managing editor until September 2002. She then became division director, serving in that position from 2002 through 2006. She then became director of programs and communications and held that position until 2009 when she took over the COO's role.
