Jeff Gramlich has left AccountantsWorld. Gramlich's LinkedIn profile shows that he left the Hauppauge, N.Y.-based software company to form Gramlich Consulting in February after serving as president of AccountantsWorld from August 2013. The company has issued no official statement about his departure.
However, in response to an email inquriy, CEO Chandra Bhansali said there were no plans to replace Gramlich.
A veteran in the tax and accounting field, Gramlich held executive positions with both Thomson Reuters and Wolters Kluwer. He was EVP of business development of what was then called CCH from June 2003 through August 2006 and moved over to the company's Small Firms Services operation where he was president from 2006 through February 2013.
Gramlich came to Thomson via its acquisition of the former Computer Language Research where he was VP of product development for the GoSystem line. He was with that company from May 1988 through January 2000.
His LinkedIn profile describes his firm's business this way: "His focus is centered on helping businesses that are wanting to exploit opportunities in the accounting market in the US or around the world" and says his expertise is in business development.

He is known throughout the industry for his depth of knowledge and for his high journalistic standards. Scott has made frequent appearances as a speaker, moderator and panelist and events serving tax and accounting professionals. He has a strong background in computer journalism as an editor with two former trade publications, Computer+Software News and MIS Week and spent several years with weekly and daily newspapers in Morris County New Jersey prior to that.
