Xero, the New Zealand-based cloud software vendor, has had turnover in key positions in sales and marketing in the United States this year. Most recently, Paul Miller, Xero's chief marketing officer for the Americas, left in August while Greg Volm,VP of sales for the U.S, took a new job in April.
Miller moved to Austin, Texas-based Upland Software. Miller, who assumed the new job in June, is now CMO and SVP of operations with Upland, which makes cloud-based Enterprise Work Management software.
Prior to his experience at Xero, Miller was an ecommerce, marketing and strategy executive at Dell where he worked from August 1998 through October 2015.
In April, Volm, who held his job with Xero from January 2015 through April this year, took a position of VP of sales at Prezi, based in the San Francisco, Calif., area. Before he joined Xero, Volm was senior director of North American sales for Zendesk.
The changes have come under Keri Gohman, president of Xero Americas, who began that role in December.
