Sales tax vendor Avalara has added connectors to 41 software products. The linked products include ERP, eCommerce and POS applications with a notable number of connectors for enterprise-level applications.

Roman Kepczyk, a well-known writer and speaker in the accounting firm market, has become director of firm technology strategy at Right NetWorks. That company offers QuickBooks hosting packages which it says offers connections to more than 250 applications.

Enhanced side-by-side form views have been added to TaxAct Professional. In outlining changes to 2018 software, the company said recently users will be able to compare all forms from the current and prior years side by side.
