Xero Picks Next CFO

Sankar Narayan, Xero Xero has hired Sankar Narayan as its CFO effective in October. He will move into the position vacation when Douglas Jeffries resigned the position in February after eight weeks on the job. Narayan joins the low-cost cloud accounting software manufactuer after serving as CFO of Virgin Australia for four years.

Sabbatis Joins XCM Solutions

Mike Sabbatis, XCM SolutionsFormer CCH CEO Mike Sabbatis has been hired as COO of XCM Solutions. The company also named its VP of sales and marketing, Bob Locke, as chief revenue officer. XCM says the moves reflect its plans for expanding operations and said its second-quarter revenue was 121-percent higher than the corresponding period a year earlier.

Sage Taps Warawa for Global Job

Jennifer Warawa, SageJennifer Warawa, who has led Sage's accounting program in North America, has been selected to head worldwide efforts. She took the new position this month after being involved with the Sage Accountants Network for several years. Warawa joined Sage in 2008 as director of partner programs, a position she held for two years.

Dean Sondregger, Wolters Kluwer Law & BusinessDean Sonderegger has left BloombergBNA where he played a key role in that company's software program from more than 12 years. Sonderegger has joined Wolters Kluwer Law & Business as VP and GM of that company's Legal Markets Group. He was executive director of product management and marketing, software segment.

Xero Names U.S. Accounting Head

Amy Vetter, XeroXero has named Amy Vetter as its first Head of Accounting in the United States. Vetter's position is one in which she is described as evangelist for accounting, practice management and supporting financial solutions. It is not one in which she is involved in the company's accounting department.

Terry Hicks, IntuitThe VP who has headed QuickBooks Online tfor he last 19 months has left Intuit after 15 years with the company. The LinkedIn page of Terry Hicks, VP and general of QuickBooks Online, shows his job supervising Intuit's fastest growing product ended last month.

Bill.com Adds Sales VP

Bill.com has hired Sheela Zemlin as SVP of sales and customer success. The Palo Alto, Calif.-based company, which makes invoicing products, said this week Zemlin has responsibility for all sales channels, including sales to small businesses and direct sales for mid-market businesses and accountants.

Xero Names U.S.-based CFO and Sales VP

Greg Volm, U.S. sales VP, XeroXero has hired Douglas Jeffries as CFO as the prior occupant of that job, Ross Jenkins, is moving to the newly created position of COO. Jeffries will be based in San Francisco. Meanwhile, the New Zealand-based marketer of cloud accounting software this week announced the hiring of a sales VP for the United States and of a sales director in the United Kingdom.

Wave VP Zandbergen Goes to Intuit

Scott Zandbergen, IntuitScott Zandbergen, VP of the business development and professional network for Wave Accounting, has moved to Intuit Canada. Zandbergen signaled the change of jobs in a Tweet this week that says he will lead marketing for ProFile, Intuit's professional tax software in Canada.

Blackbaud Exec Moye Resigns

Joseph Moye,  BlackbaudJoseph D. Moye, has resigned his position as president of Blackbaud's Enterprise Customer Business unit. The resignation is effective January 30 with Moye continuing as an employee until March 15 in a transitional capacity. Blackbaud says Moye is leaving for personal reasons.
