Intuit is changed how it handles automated taxes for QuickBooks Online Payroll customers. The change is being rolled out to new subscribes start this month and continuing through September 30.
QB will now withdraw taxes each time payroll is processed or when there is a change in what is owed. The current practice is to automatically withdraw the amount and pay payroll taxes when due.
The change will be implemented on October 1, for existing customers who employ their entire workforce in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, North Carolina, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Customers in other states will be notified when the change will take place
Those affected will receive an email and a notification will also be posted in QuickBooks Online Payroll.
