Mondrianh, who operated in Southlake Texas, was also banned from operating a tax-preparation business. She consented to a preliminary injunction without admitting the allegations. It was also alleged she gave false information to the Internal Revenue Service and told a client to lie to an agent to stall an audit by the Internal Revenue service.
She was accused of investing business expenses, sometimes without her customers' knowledge, and also falsely claiming their income was exempt from taxation.
