Wolters Kluwer is launching a major new tool for researching within its CCH Intelliconnect research platform. The product, CCH CodeConnect, will be rolled out in December to IntelliConnect subscribers and is designed to provide what the company describes as providing not just information via a search but actionable information.
"This does not replace IntelliConnect," says Josh Braunstein, VP of Research & Learning for Wolters Kluwer, CCH. "It's gives users practical insight they can use in conjunction with IntelliConnect."
Executives and managers of Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting US outlined the capabilities of CodeConnect at the CCH Connections User Conference under way this week. The basic capabilities were described as quick and easy navigation of the Internal Revenue Code with quick access to related materials.
The company also said that the editors have rewritten all explanations provided for code. The previous descriptions were pictured as having been written more from an attorney of academic's point of view. CodeConnect also is touted as providing easier navigation as Wolters Kluwer has added related forms, instructions and tools that enable users to seeing everything in one spot without need to jump to other areas.
