TaxAct, which makes consumer and professional tax software, is offering complete preparation service through tax professionals. The new service, including full return preparation, will debut this month while TaxAct is also offering free consultative service.
After creating a return with TaxAct Xpert Full Service, filers can upload information and be matched with professional who complete the returns and will review them with filers for a fee.
In addition, the free consultations enable filers to connect with professionals to have questions answered. They can also share their screens. The service will initially operation Monday through Friday but will expand to seven days a week.
