XP Support Ending. Big Deal?

Microsoft is ending support for the Windows XP today. And with millions still using that operating system will probably find out very quickly whether dire warnings of widespread hacking come true and systems are trashed or become part of a zombie computer army. Or is this is the 2014 version of the Y2K problem, the supposed catastrophe that was supposed to happen when computers went from 1999 to 2000? And nothing much happened.
Xero American Users Up 200 Percent

Xero says the number of users of its cloud-based accounting software in North America hit 18,000 when its fiscal year ended on March 31. That's up from 6,000 at the end of fiscal 2013. Meanwhile, revenue for New Zealand-based company on the continent reached about $2.8 million, an increase of 154 percent over the prior year.
IRS: Paper Returns Down to 9 Percent

The Internal Revenue Service said this week that the number of efiled returns continues to grow as a percentage of all tax returns. About 91 percent of returns this year have been efiled with about 9 percent submitted on paper, and it expects the final number of paper returns will be down 7 percent from last year's total.
