Avalara Kicks Off Accountant Program

avalara_Avalara, a sales-and-use tax service provider, took the wraps off a program that it has been discussing since the beginning of 2012. The online company formally rolled out its Accounting and Advisory Services Program this week The program is intended to help the accounting profession serve clients by educating them about sales-and-use tax issues and providing resources and tools so that can provide professional assistance in this area.

The three levels of participation start with the Accountants Resource Center, which offers tools and educational resources. These include white papers. webinars and tax calculation tools and forms libraries. The second level, Referral Partners, is designed for accountants who want to recommend Avalara's products and services to clients. The final cog, Pro Partners, enables accountants to process returns and provide remittance services for their clients.
