A District of Columbia preparer has been convicted on 25 counts of aiding and assisting in the preparation of false individual tax returns. A  jury found Enyinnaya Udo guilty on all counts with which he had been charged. Udo, who operates under the name Anic and Associates, was accused of preparing the returns for seven tax payers from 2005 through 2008 by reporting bogus unreimbursed employee expenses, Udo, who is scheduled to be sentenced on November 1, faces a maximum of three years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 on each count.
