Michael Lowther, who was barred from appearing before the SEC in January 2008, has been restored to practice there. The SEC found that Lowther had met the conditions imposed as a result of his actions as concurring reviewer for Arthur Andersen's audits and reviews of Enron's financial statements.
Also suspended for their role in the Enron audits were David B. Duncan, Andersen's former global engagement partner for the Enron engagement, and Thomas Bauer, a partner on the engagement and Michael C. Odom, who was practice director at Andersen for the Gulf Coast Region at the time. Duncan was permanently suspended from practice while Bauer and Odom each were barred for three years.
