Intuit is integrating DocuSign's Digital Transaction Management (DTM) and electronic signature technology with Intuit Tax Online, Lacerte and Intuit ProSeries. Available for purchase with those products, DocSign enables preparers and clients the ability to add electronic signatures on returns.

The integration enables users to complete Internal Revenue Service Forms 8878 and 8879. The preparers selects the eSignature option within the tax program and send clients a link to encrypted documents that need a signature. DocuSign can be accessed from supported mobile and desktop devices.

Completed documents are store and filed. An audit trained is maintained on all forms.
