Three individuals, whose previous employers were barred from preparing federal income tax returns from offers have themselves gotten the boot. The court action against  Shandon Allen, Tabitha Tunstall, and Shewanda Hamilton said the three started business as Southern King Taxes 2012 in the Memphis, Tenn., area after the owners of their previous employer, Mo' Money Taxes, were barred from the business

The three were accused of improperly using the Earned Income Tax Credit, and false filing status, and bogus education credits to hike client returns. They also prepared returns via the use of paystubs, instead of W-2 forms, fabricated W-2s and filed some returns without their customers' knowledge. The suit said they also charged "deceptive and unconscionable fees." the suit.

The three were managers at Mo' Money, but started their own business after the owners of Mo' Money Taxes, Markey Granberry and Derrick Robinson, along with a former Mo' Money manager, Eumora Reese, were barred. The government alleged that three continued to use the same fraudulent means employed at Mo' Money.
